Ashanti Douglas, popularly called Ashanti and is born in Glen Cove New York United States on October 13th 1980. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. The talent of Ashanti was discovered when she was a teenager. She was signed to Murder Inc. Records, in 2002. She was featured on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? song that was released the following year. the song "What's love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule's "It's Always" on Time was a huge hit for both of them. The actress starred in the movie Christmas in the City and as Latasha Montclair in Army Wives. Aitch was a British artist, took a sample of her song Rock wit U for Baby on March 10, 2022.
