Rene Russo, born in Burbank the state of California on September 2nd, 1970 to Shirley Balocca Barmaid/factory worker as well as Nino Russo. Rene's father, who was also a sculptor and technician, left the family after Rene was two years old. Rene and Toni were then raised by their sole mother. Her father was of Italian descent as was her mother of Italian as well as German-English-Irish descent. In junior high school Rene was plagued with Scoliosis, and was required to wear a brace that covered her entire body. The students at her school called them Jolly Green Giant because she was so tall. While she was a student at Burroughs High School alongside Ron Howard (a fellow classmate) and even having her brace taken off her, she was still an individual Ranger. Unable to deal with academics and school life, Rene quit her school when she was in the 10th grade. To make ends meet, Rene took a series of part time jobs for about 18 months. A lot of them were for free. When she worked as a waitress at a movie theater where she could enjoy free films. Also, she worked in eateries where meals were served in a free manner. She also worked at Disneyland in the cashier position, where the admission fee is free. She worked two jobs simultaneously. Her last job which only paid a salary was a full-time job at an eyeglass manufacturing plant, which was responsible for reviewing contacts lenses.
